If you are looking to excel, take a closer look at us....The incumbent is required to have in-depth technical discipline and subject-matter expertise in managing IT systems and Infrastructure so as to contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work flow.Responsibilities: . Responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, organising and control of the operations and administration of Singapore branch IT infrastructure which includes IT Desktop Management, Server and System Administration, Database Administration, Telecommunication and Network infrastructure and Messaging systems . Responsible for ensuring optimal performance of the above IT areas, planning and operating with an adequate and effective organisation structure, IT equipment and resources to meet the bank's computerization and business needs . Ensure compliance to the bank's policies as well as regulatory requirements and guidelines . Responsible for analysing, reviewing, identifying and recommending cost effective technology solutions that can meet the current and future business needs . Responsible for maintaining a strong and effective relationship within the IT counterparts and Business units . Responsible for providing sound and timely advice to support the Singapore's branch business plans and activities . Responsible for developing and maintaining technical support documentation . Access risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business and technology management in a timely manner . Responsible for partnering with appropriate development and technology support areas to prioritise bug fixes and support tooling requirements . Responsible for reviewing and developing infrastructure contingency planning to ensure adequate availability to users . Responsible for providing infrastructure support to application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production . Responsible for engaging in post implementation analysis to ensure successful system design and functionality . Responsible for managing a team of 3-4 members covering Infrastructure services to support Application Delivery, Database Administration, Server and System Management, Network Administration, IT Helpdesk and Desktop services as part of the Singapore operationsRequirements: . Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology . Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in managing technology infrastructure (systems & network engineering) and IT Service Management . Experience in IT Infrastructure management, not limited to forecast, cost and risk management, sizing and capacity planning . Strong foundation and practitioner in the project management discipline . Demonstrate strong problem solving skills for both technical/application areas . Analytical, innovative thinking capability with a passion to think out of the box . Strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to act as a liaison between users, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors
