What the role is:You will contribute to the learning & development of a high performing workforce. You will develop, implement and co-ordinate the spectrum of learning & development plans and policies associated with military security, with our partners across MINDEF/SAF, Whole of Government (WOG) and commercial entities.What you will be working on:You will be responsible for the development, implementation and review of learning & development plans and policies. You will work with our partners on our training requirements, course management and course evaluation. You will also co-ordinate and ensure effective management of our development plans, learning budget and programmes, which include ensuring that established workstreams and processes are adhered to.What we are looking for:You should have a tertiary qualification preferably in fields of relevant disciplines, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Certifications in HR, L&D and OD will be advantageous. You should be a strong team player with good written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills. You should also possess good planning, analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to think systematically to ensure the successful implementation of L&D policies and timely execution of learning interventions. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About Military Security Department:The Military Security Department (MSD)\'s core business is in Counter Intelligence and internal security for MINDEF/SAF. MSD was formed in 1975 to counter the threats of espionage, subversion and sabotage against MINDEF/SAF. It began with two main entities, namely the Counter Intelligence Branch (CIB) and Field Security Branch (FSB). Over the years, the department has continued to evolve and our roles expanded in tandem with the changing security environment. Today, our roles also include Counter Terrorism and Cyber Security.
