Manager, Marketing & eCommerce Consulting - Asia Pacific
The Manager, Marketing & eCommerce Consulting (MECC) - Asia Pacific (APAC) is a member of the hotel facing consulting team; collectively responsible for Asia Pacific excluding Greater China & Mongolia (GCM) growing pipeline of new and opening hotels, targeted to grow +41% by 2028 and marketing and online channel performance of over +145 hotels (and growing) through a combination of pro-active and re-active consulting services. You will be responsible for pre-opening hotels to have the right marketing positioning and plans in place to support their commercial ramp up as well as adequate online presence and visibility to drive online channel performance across SEO, PPC, retailing, website management, social media and more, as well as connecting hotels to enterprise activity prior to hotel launch and ultimately for successful hotel trading. You will also be responsible for supporting the deployment of effective processes through optimization and technology that will support hotel and market needs, as well as leading specific projects that deliver enterprise value in collaboration with various departments across Global Marketing and Commercial Services. What will I be doing? As the Manager, Marketing & eCommerce Consulting - APAC, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Responsible for delivering Marketing & eCommerce support for opening and transition hotels in APAC (excluding GCM)
  • Lead as the Marketing & eCommerce subject matter expert and support new and opening hotels through hotel\'s pre-opening or transition journey
  • Develop a plan and strategy to ensure Hilton branded hotels are best represented on Hilton channels as well as across third party sites such as OTA\'s
  • Consult and guide new and opening hotels to develop an effective marketing plan towards successful opening
  • Provide performance insights to guide new and opening hotels to maximize performance opportunities through proactive and reactive consulting support
  • Provide continual evaluation of existing team processes and procedures. Responsible for suggesting methods to improve operations, be it efficiency or quality of support to internal and external customers
  • Maintain key internal stakeholder relationships with regional commercial, operational and brand heads, to align on priorities and support for hotel openings
  • Use appropriate judgment and effectively manage internal and external stakeholder communication regarding hotels, departmental or Team Members concerns
  • Collaborate with regional teams in Americas and EMEA on enterprise projects, ensuring APAC requirements are accounted for in global roadmap and initiatives
  • Develop and deliver Marketing & eCommerce resources, tools, and trainings to upskill new and opening hotels\' expertise
  • Develop and support test and learn initiatives of MECC tools and programs that support business needs at scale, working with the respective team members to ensure effective management of the programmes and tools and a clear optimisation roadmap with alignment to commercial goals and strategy

  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively and influence others in a matrixed environment including working within and among teams and influence others at all levels to move projects forward
  • Experienced in developing and executing marketing strategy plans
  • Through the line marketing expertise with priority on digital marketing
  • Experience in developing, leading and planning a strategy to optimize brand presence on owned and third party sites
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with proficiency in presenting key initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Up to 20% travel or as required
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Experience working in the hospitality and/or travel industry
  • Additional Asian languages is not required but is a plus
  • Experience working across APAC markets
