Job Description
[What the role is]
Supervise the daily operations in Materials Management to support the development of the heritage collection and contribute to NLB\xe2\x80\x99s strategic objective of Reading, Learning and Info literacy.
[What you will be working on]
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the team
- Lead and supervise staff to achieve work targets and performance
- Manpower and resources planning for day-to-day operations
- Manage the Legal Deposit Operations
- Monitor deliverables and conduct data analysis to monitor and track key performance indicators
- Lead and resolve operational issues and proactively implement solutions
- Oversee enquires pertaining to Gifts, Donations and Legal Deposit
- Participate in cross-functional projects and manage continuous process improvement projects
- Conduct User Acceptance Test pertaining to work processes projects and IT issues
- Compile statistics and reports for team and management
- Responsible for budget planning and monitoring
- Preferably with relevant experience in warehouse and logistics
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Independent, proactive and a good team player
- Good problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Strong customer focus attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Division: Resource Discovery and Management Division / Resource Management
The successful applicant will first be appointed on a 2-year contract basis.
