The Manager, Medical Education - Recon, Asia Pacific is responsible for developing and executing surgeon education strategies across the region for Hip and Knee Reconstruction and associated enabling technologies. Acting as the segment lead for Recon, this role designs comprehensive education pathways, drives faculty engagement, and ensures consistent, high-quality program delivery across diverse markets.
Aligned with regional business priorities, the role focuses on advancing clinical capability, supporting technology adoption, and strengthening procedural proficiency through impactful, evidence-based medical education that enhances surgeon experience.

Principal Duties & Responsibilites
Own the Segment (including relevant technology in segment eg ROSA, case planning tools etc). 30%
Lead surgeon education for a defined procedural area across APAC, seeking input from segment marketing teams to ensure commercial alignment and from internal sales training teams/product managers on clinical expertise. Serve as focal point to align medical education initiatives with BU priorities and New Product Introductions (NPIs). Act as the educational specialist, guiding local teams on program design and delivery
Build and Deliver Structured Pathways

Define the complete learning journey from surgeon onboarding to advanced use. Develop standardized training pathways, content, and delivery formats. Create reusable tools and modules to support regional and local execution. Ensure consistent experience across markets with local adaptations where appropriate. Partner with local teams to identify and grow faculty aligned to segment needs. Lead regional Train the Trainer and Bioskill lab events. Support faculty in delivering consistent, high-quality education. Strengthen the regional KOL network and future educator pipeline.

Your Background

Education
Bachelor's degree required (preferably in technology, healthcare/clinical, or marketing)
Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years recent experience
in the specific orthopedics segment they will lead (e.g. Hip, Knee, Shoulder & Sports, Thoracic & F&A)
7+ years in healthcare or medical devices
, with experience working directly with orthopaedic surgeons, including cadaveric lab training environments.
Blend of Clinical experience, Marketing/Sales exposure, and Product Management
Proven track record
in driving surgeon training and education initiatives
Demonstrated success
in leading medical education programs in APAC
Experience collaborating
with KOLs, faculty, and cross-functional stakeholders
Special Expertise
Strong understanding
of APAC markets, languages, and regulatory context
Leads development

Languages
