Job Description

What the role is:Purpose of Job:You will be part of a dynamic team reporting to the Director of Land & Sea Space Planning. You will support the division on all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) matters so that the division can carry out space & infrastructure planning to achieve Singapore 30 by 30 Vision.Duties

• Conduct MEP infrastructure assessment and carry out infrastructure planning to support Singapore land and sea space farming.

• Support the Lim Chu Kang redevelopment project which would be first of its kind and houses state-of-art modern farming & MEP system.

• Support sea farms to transition into high productive and environmentally sustainable farming system.

• Good understanding of MEP network and system in order to interact with technical agencies to carry out the above duties.

• Have a broad sense of infrastructure costing or resourceful enough to obtain such high-level information to prepare high level cost estimates.

• Any other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering or with relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in dealing with MEP design and planning.

• Strong communication and writing skills, meticulous and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

The SFA will serve as the single point of contact for public feedback on food-related issues, and strengthen management of foodborne disease outbreaks to protect public health. The SFA will also facilitate more business-friendly regulations with oversight of all food safety policies and consolidation of food laboratory capabilities to deepen competencies in food diagnostics, and research and development in food safety.
