The shortlisted candidate will report to NiFT\'s Deputy Director.

NiFT seeks a results-driven manager with strong leadership skills to manage the Centre\'s internal operations and outreach initiatives. The Manager/Senior Manager supports NiFT\'s Deputy Director in the overall development, performance and maintenance of the Centre\'s activities to achieve maximum efficiency. The incumbent oversees the hiring and managing of administrative staff, monitors the Centre\'s budgets, improves information systems, oversees human resources requirements, and coordinates the Centre\'s community engagement effort.

  • Support the Centre\'s Deputy Director in managing, directing, and monitoring the Centre\'s day-to-day operations and overall performance.
  • Prepare and manage administrative budgets.
  • Oversee the recruitment, development, target setting, performance management and mentoring of administrative staff.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of the strategic and general operations planning of the Centre.
  • Coordinate the Centre\'s online and offline communications platforms with internal departments.
  • Interact and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Consolidate and expand the Centre\'s network of supporters through active engagement of Alumni/partners/students/participants.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Deputy Director.
Job Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree is required.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, Finance, Communications, Event Management and Operations, preferably in a university environment.
  • Leadership and good people and task management skills.
  • Strong in execution and has held supervisory roles.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and strong analytical thinking.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and proficiency in written and spoken Chinese as the incumbent will be required to communicate and liaise with overseas partners from China.
  • Good planning and organising skills.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Highly motivated and driven
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
