You will be part of the team that is responsible for the day-to-day security operations on Jurong Island and checkpoints. You will formulate and review security-related policies and SOPs to keep up to ground situation and development, and ensure processes are relevant and current. You will process permit applications made by tenant companies, JTC departments or other agencies such as over-size vehicles, photography, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and ensure that statutory requirements are met. You will work with JTC departments, government agencies, tenant companies and contractors to identify security gaps and bridging the gaps through whole-of-government and/or community-based approach leading to the smooth security operations of Jurong Island. You will direct and oversee the 24/7 Jurong Island Operations Centre (JIOC) and provide guidance to outsourced security service providers. You will manage contracts to ensure that security service providers carry out the works, review and recommend improvements in processes and procedures to enhance operational capabilities and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with security service vendors to track their performance and KPIs. You will conduct an analysis of ground situation and present findings and trends to management through monthly/quarterly report or meeting. You will be required to, at times, to manage the execution and implementation of projects. At least 3 to 4 years of experience in security or security-related operations, planning, developing SOPs and work processes. Prior experience in project management would be an advantage.
