Job Description


Job Purpose

The Manager, Operations Projects Section reports to the Senior Manager, Operations Support Branch and is responsible for the following:

1. Plan, manage, and oversee project activities and interfaces like Additions & Alterations and System Level works that impact Operations Control Centre (OCC) and Stations.
2. Plan and manage the operations budget to ensure alignment with workplan.
3. Supervise the Projects team and the Budget & Documentation team in ensuring all goals and objectives mapped out by the organisation are accomplished in accordance to projected schedules.

Responsibilities

1. Manage, coordinate, and execute projects that impact OCC and Stations. This includes the optimisation of resources and operations expenditure.
2. Identify and resolve issues and risks that may compromise safety, quality and on-time delivery in the management and execution of projects.
3. Define and detail project requirements by liaising with various functionalities to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
4. Review project proposals, call-off orders, and other relevant documentations.
5. Liaise and follow up actively with internal functionalities, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
6. Provide regular updates to management on the status of projects and operations budget.
7. Oversee the Budget and Documentation team in their daily procurement/administrative support to OCC and Stations.
8. Assist CCL Station Operations in managing situations during train service delay or disruption.
9. Member of the Station Comms Group.
10. Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or Supervisors
11. Every staff in Circle Line is responsible for their own as well as their Team\'s Safety. Staff shall uphold the CCL Safety Mission and 3 principles to complete tasks, perform duties, fulfil the goals of the organisation, and adhere to the individual roles and responsibilities.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Degree in relevant discipline or Diploma in Engineering discipline with supervisory experience in Railway Industry is preferred.
  • 5 years of project management experience.
