Lead and manage the Patient Service Centre operations, establish policies and procedures to support the smooth running of the hospital and interaction with customers and various stakeholders.
Oversee the hospital\'s Patient Service Centre operations and management of billing and collections, claims from Medisave/Medishield/Insurance and LOG payers, accounts receivable and credit control.
Provide leadership and mentorship in training to develop the team of Patient Service Centre staff to support the growing needs of business units in the hospital.
Manage the financial control risk of the Patient Service Centre operations and review procedures for improvements.
Manage the service quality required for patient and doctor queries.
Manage and review Key Performance Indicators for Patient Service Centre.
Work closely with all stakeholders in the management of patients\' journey in the hospital and support to the doctors.
Ensure that management reports summaries and statistics are prepared as required.
Continuous improvements and system enhancements and apply technology improvements.
Job Requirements
Degree in Accountancy, Business or related field or ACCA qualification or healthcare related professional studies
At least 6-8 years of relevant experience in managing Patient Service Centre in acute hospital environment
Strong knowledge of healthcare policies, health insurance & claims, patient billing & client services, receivables and credit control
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
Analytical and able to put forth process improvement plans
Proficient in Microsoft Applications and numerical analysis
