Manager Payroll Services APAC


Tetra Pak is looking for a Manager Payroll Services APAC who will be responsible for service delivery and client satisfaction in the payroll area, for managing the payroll operations and processes for countries within Asia Pacific. Manages the local payroll teams and their operations as well as the external vendors in the area of responsibility. This position will be based in Singapore.

What you will do


As a Manager Payroll Services APAC, you will:
  • Supervise the payroll and local benefits operations for countries in Asia Pacific.
  • Manage relationships with external payroll/benefits vendors and insurance brokers, ensuring consistent and quality delivery of services.
  • Lead reviews on payroll, benefits and tax processes in area of responsibility and implement changes as required to ensure efficient and best practice processes. Drive process performance improvements activities such as Process Reviews and continuous improvement activities. Initiate, lead and coordinate implementation of Locally initiated Projects, including the ones in the T&A area.
  • Contribute to the global agenda and global projects, collaborate with Reward, Master Data and other teams in the implementation of global initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies, guidelines as well as local legislations
  • Participate in internal and external audits and manages mitigations and closure of audit findings as appropriate.
  • Plan implementation and drive Change Management incl. process and tools training and communication.
  • Manage and develop the payroll team.


We believe you have


  • At least 8 years of related experience in payroll or related area.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits administration and management, as well as local labour regulations.
  • Experience in managing a team, which is often is dispersed locations.
  • Proven data management / analysis skills.
  • Broad knowledge of industry and market best practices
  • Proficiency in project management, service and consulting skills
  • SLA knowledge
