Your Job

Molex is looking for a Process Outsource Manager to manage a team of employees who work with vendors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget requirements. The person is also responsible for monitoring the quality of work performed by external vendors to ensure that it meets company standards.

Our Team

You will be reporting to Sr Manager, NPI / Outsource, work closely with planner, QA Engineer, MIE Engineer and Assembly subcontractor vendors, suppliers.

What You Will Do

• Providing information about new technologies and industry trends to help improve efficiency and productivity.

• New products (subcon) - responsible for working with MIE, Automation Engineer, Product Design Engineer, QA, and component Engineer, ensuring equipment release for manufacturing.

• Designing production processes for product launch at Subcontractor location; including infrastructure requirement, setting up lines, process flow, process capability study, material flow, PFMEA etc.

• Work with subcontractor to provide resources to support project transfer to their location, meet the capacity and quality requirement.

• Starting the production lines and supervising the production lines during their implementation.

• Preparing a requisition plan for machines, equipment, and other production means - for new projects, or sample production.

• Analyzing work on the production lines, ensure safety compliance and measuring the work efficiency.

• Identifying and implementing improvements in the production processes.

• Implementing product changes into the production processes, including the process optimization.

• Provide continuous improvement activities for efficiency, manufacturing cost and product quality.

• Adherence to procedures related to system management of quality and environmental.

• Perform work in accordance with the standards of personal and professional integrity as described in the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct. To comply to MBM Guiding Principles for the job carry out under his responsibility.Lead the Outsource team for the assembly equipment and processes outsource to subcontractors

• Responsible for Quality, yield, productivity improvements

• Responsible for production equipment transfer between Molex and Subcontractor

• Responsible for the asset and equipment at subcontractor location

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree\'s in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering

• Min 3 years experience on similar position (external candidates)

• Strong background in project management, vendor management, and process improvement.

• Proven experience managing outsourced vendors and service providers.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge that allows the perception of directional errors and propose solutions.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.

• Ability to work in a team environment .

• Willing to take on challenges and show initiative.

• Willing to travel between Johor, Singapore and Batam.

• Ability to work effectively with people from different cultures.

• Knowledge of ISO/IATF16949.
