What will your typical day look like?
Operations
Manage a team of procurement administration staff to support the various Procurement Category teams in procurement activities such as sourcing events and contract creation using the SAP Ariba system
Collaborate with other members of the procurement team to develop and implement P2P initiatives to reduce transaction costs and create efficiency
Develop/Update operations material as required
Lead/manage interactions with key stakeholders
Lead operations for managed printing, office supplies, business name cards and travel which are handled by Procurement
Execute implementation plans to deliver quality results within defined timelines
Work with business unit leadership to report and monitor process compliance
Develop procurement administration team capabilities to ensure efficient operations
Solve complex problems in which in-depth analysis of data or situations is required
Remain current with market trends, identify and communicate new technologies and work with peer systems team to address key problems in the systems area
Procurement Initiatives
Develop knowledge of Singtel procurement strategies for project alignment
Collaborate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses, and geographies to realize procurement goals and objectives
Implement leadership reports, providing tracking on key departmental KPI's
Drive Control Self-Assessment, Procurement Customer Satisfaction Survey and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
Is this you?
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in either a Procurement or an Operations function-related Systems and Process role
Experience in leading and managing a team in procurement processing related operations
Hands-on experience using SAP Ariba Contracts and Sourcing modules, and S4Hana/ECC, or other procurement sourcing platforms like IBM Emptoris, Coupa, or other e-procurement tools
Strong understanding of Source to Pay process and technologies
Familiar with standard tendering and contract creation processes
Attention to detail and strong process improvement focus
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
