Objectives

We are looking for a passionate Product Stewardship Manager for our team in the APAC region. Key responsibilities are the monitoring of regulatory developments throughout APAC with regards to our Performance Chemicals product portfolios, early warning of the business in case of regulatory threats and the efficient and effective coordination and communication of regulatory activities in-between regional & global product management, global product stewardship & regulatory as well as regional regulatory experts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess emerging regulatory trends and developments related to product stewardship in the Asia Pacific region via collaboration with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to management on potential impacts to the business.
• Develop and implement product stewardship strategies and processes to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, as well as best practices for product safety, sustainability, and marketability.
• Conduct product risk assessments, including hazard identification, risk analysis, and risk management to ensure a sustainable portfolio steering.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders, including product and business management, global product stewardship, manufacturing, customers, and R&D, on product stewardship topics and compliance requirements.
• Develop and deliver product stewardship training programs to stakeholders, including team members, product and business management, and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biosciences, or related field.
• 5 years working experience in product stewardship, regulatory or related field within chemical or oil & lubricants industry.
• Knowledge of product safety, chemical and environmental sustainability regulations/legislations in the Asia Pacific region
• SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Expect some travelling involved.
