Job Description


You would be part of a dynamic team that designs and delivers Public Service Media (PSM) strategies and programmes to foster an informed and connected society through Public Service Broadcast (PSB) content that reaches and engages audiences across platforms.

You would be working closely with Ministries, key broadcasters, PSM players and media companies in Singapore to implement media-tech and digital content projects aimed at developing strategic capabilities of the industry and driving transformation of the PSM ecosystem in a fast-changing media landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of PSM strategies and programmes to improve PSB content quality and delivery to deepen audience engagement across platforms.
  • Identify and evaluate media, tech or platform players in Singapore and internationally for potential partnerships to enhance strategic capabilities of the PSM ecosystem.
  • Engage identified partners on proposals for pilot-testing and/or full implementation of media-tech and innovative content format projects (such as AI for media, virtual production, social media, new digital formats etc).
  • Prepare internal submissions with assessments and recommendations to seek approval of projects, including presentation of proposals to senior management.
  • Manage PSM-supported projects, including contract negotiation and management, progress monitoring and issue management, verification of deliverables, funding administration, data analysis and performance review.
  • Establish strong working relationships and networks with media industry players and public sector agencies for effective implementation of PSB strategies, projects and initiatives.
  • Perform market research on new media tech trends and digital formats that are driving audience consumption and distil pertinent insights to inform PSM strategies for innovative content creation and delivery.
Requirements
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in project management roles and preferably with experience in the media industry as well as managing tech and digital media projects involving AI for media, AR/VR, social media or metaverse.
  • Good degree, preferably in Mass Communications, Media/Digital Marketing, or Business Administration/Analytics.
  • Keen interest in the media industry, with good understanding of social-political, economic and technological trends driving media consumption and content delivery.
  • Self-motivated team player who can work independently to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management, project management, analytical and communication (writing and presentation) skills.
  • Prior experience in Financial & Budget administration would be an added advantage
