Objectives of the Position




To plan and direct sales activities in ASEAN to achieve agreed profit, sales volume, pricing and selling costs objectives by implementing overall sales strategy, applying organizational, customer and technical knowledge.

Main Tasks



Customer Needs and Management

- establish and maintain account relationships and meet personal sales targets for each assigned account by calling and visiting existing/prospective customers to understand their needs and building long-term customer supplier relationship

Sales Management and Business Development

- Develop and implement global & regional sales strategies for Aroma Ingredients in ASEAN. Manage selling activities, product pricing and positioning to optimize profitability and operational efficiency. Work with technical/ customer services/ logistic personnel to archive sales target, increase customer satisfactions and solve customer complaints. Draft proposal on sales and marketing to customers and ensure account strategy are exploited consistently. Research, identify and develop existing and potential customer portfolio.

Business, Pricing & Credit Management -

Implementing global & regional pricing policies. Perform accurate demand forecast and logistic planning. Monitor payment process and credit limit to ensure timely payment of receivables to meet revenue and financial targets. Identify, follow up and solve any unusual findings

Market Intelligence -

Collect market intelligence to understand market trends, application of products/ technology, service needs as well as competition to ensure sustainable growth

Global Key Account Management -

Manage intra- and inter- regional communication to optimize business results. GKA coordination across Asia by close communication with country sales organisations and interface with global key account managers.

New business development -

actively develop new customers, applications and markets for both Citral and Biotech based portfolios.

Requirements



Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology/ Business Administration or other related field. At least 5 years' work experience, of which 2 years in sales/key account management in Asia Aroma Industry knowledge would be an added advantage * High degree of customer focus, with entrepreneurial thinking, proactive and good problem-solving skills
