Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Manager of Supply Chain Management. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Specialists, overseeing order management and shipping documentation activities across Asia Pacific Markets and Sites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (incl. sites, markets, and BSC team, etc) to provide operational support for order management and shipping documentation. The role also involves identifying and driving operational improvement opportunities and ensuring our APS operations complies with audits and requirements.WHAT YOU WILL DOResponsibilities:Order Management & Shipping Documentation:Coach and support Order Fulfilment and Shipping Documentation Specialists in day-to-day operational activities.Oversee and manage the end-to-end Order Fulfilment process, ensuring efficient and timely order processing according to the planning calendar. Track and delivery of orders through close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Logistics, etc).Ensure adherence to Order Fulfilment Standard work and compliance with related audits on Order-to-Cash/Source-to-Settle (OtC/StS) processes.Ensure accurate and timely execution of transactions in the ERP system (COMET SAP) for inbound and outbound shipments.Responsible for the shipping documentation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of invoices, packing lists, and customs-related paperwork.Monitor, review, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize resource utilization.Escalate to SCM HubOps Director for sponsorship and support in driving operational efficiencies.Provide support to cross-functional teams as the steward for OtC/StS processes.Corporate Audit and Compliance Requirements:Ensure compliance with corporate and other audit requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the region to meet compliance requirements.Drive Operational Improvements:Provide coaching to drive process improvement and enable knowledge sharing on COMET order management process.Collaborate with the Global CoE and Process Subject Matter Expert to introduce new processes or enhancements to OtC/StS functions.Ensure maintenance and adherence to AP SCM SOPs and Standard work within the OtC/StS space.WHAT YOU MUST HAVERequirements:Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.More than 5 years of experience in supply chain management in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or FMCG industry, with a focus on Order Fulfilment, Order management, and process improvement.Experience in managing multiple planning (ERP) systems and interfaces; familiarity with SAP ECC is preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and derive insights.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of applicable regulations, divisional policies/guidelines, document control, record management, and training administration.Understanding of Data Visualization tools (like PowerBI) is preferred.Who we areWe are known as Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, New Jersey, USA in the United States and Canada and MSD everywhere else.
