Job Description

What the role is:You will be part of the Security Division (SD)\'s Security Excellence Department who is responsible for the standard and quality of security implementation in JTC.What you will be working on:You are expected to: 1. Work with the security operations team to address security operational challenges in the many JTC properties in Singapore. This can include the conduct of regular red teaming exercises to drill on security vendor\'s readiness and assess on their competency. 2. You will also work with the various security vendors and technical consultants to specify the technical specifications of the proposed security systems. 3. Security scoping and advice on physical security measures and operational procedures for JTC new developments and projects. Involvement will be throughout the project lifecycle. 4. Plan and implement the Quality Assurance framework for JTC properties. You will also need to ensure the identified gaps and areas for improvements are followed-up and rectified. The intent of the QA framework is to ensure the security measures and processes meet JTC\'s operational objectives and requirements. 5. From time to time, you may be asked to assist in other projects involving security advisory for external government agencies.What we are looking for:

• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in security or security-related operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience working as security managers in Public or Government buildings/premises would be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in security technologies, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) would also be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess the following personal qualities: 1. Good written and spoken communication skills 2. Exercise leadership to motivate, engage subordinates and fellow colleagues 3. Good analytical skills to identify and analyse problems and recommend solutions 4. Adaptable, self-motivated and meticulous 5. Willing to engage and collaborate with different stakeholders within JTC and external parties 6. Be comfortable conducting briefings to large group of audiences or industrial players on topics relevant to the security domain and contracting.
