Job Description

The successful candidate will join the NUHS Healthcare Commercial Cloud (HCC) team. As part of the team, he/she will lead to implement and manage the NUHS cluster common cloud components, provide implementation support to NUHS HCC project and manage the operational activities in NUHS HCC.

• Lead to deploy, maintain and version up NUHS Cloud Platform common services to ensure resiliency, capability, performance and compliance based on corporate guidelines and policies, as well as best practice.
• As a SME to provide application-based project advisory on cloud platform requirements, including network, security, flow and compliance.
• Select and justify to various stakeholders including C-suites for appropriate Cloud services within policies and guidelines principle to design and/or deploy application platform based on given requirement.
• As operation in charge to support application teams for periodic operational, security and audit reviews at Cloud platform level (not application level).
• Define work flows for communicating and working with central Cloud platform service owner and various stakeholders for application project design assessment, testing, production on-boarding / off-boarding.
• Provide professional insights to overlook and troubleshoot personally (if required) with Cloud platform owner, work-load project owner and vendor for service issues, security incidents and various common operational issues related to Cloud platform.
• Attend general consultation on cloud technologies and occasionally give training to IT staffs.
• Come out the strategy and data analysis patterns for monitoring and analysing various logs from different logging sources to make sure services stability and security compliance and remediate accordingly with vendors.
• Develop orchestration to realise service-as-a-code with automation (not mandatory scope)
  

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare industry or public sector IT programmes and projects is an added advantage
• Demonstrable track record and experience in complex IT enablement programme / project involvement. Experience in relevant Cloud enablement will be a plus.

• Team player who can work independently within established guidelines and procedures.
• Excellent in communication, problem solving and resource management. Able to handle situation which is out of expectations.
• 8+ years’ infrastructure experience in IT with at least 3 years’ technical leader role and 3 years’ hands on experience with a strong technical knowledge in the 2 or more of the following areas in AWS and/or Azure:
• Multi-tenancy environment with complex interaction logic.
• Networking and perimeter segregation and protection with Zero-trust.
• Dynamically scalable, available, reliable and fault-tolerant of application architecture and underlay data technologies.
• Identity & access control, directory services, account & access management
• Policy management, governance, compliance, and data privacy
• Various Security components for detection, monitoring, analysis and response
• Experience in YAML and Cloud automation API usage, SDKs with at least one high-level programming language (e.g. python, Node.js, etc.) will be a plus.
• Certification in either AWS or Azure technologies is an added advantage
