About the Marketing Communications Unit To develop Singapore into a thriving innovation-driven economy and loveable city by design, the Marketing Communications unit raises the level of design appreciation on home ground by amplifying Dsg’s initiatives, publicising Singapore design and designers, and advocating the impact and value of design. The unit also advances the Singapore Design Brand internationally, elevating Singapore’s reputation as a leading UNESCO Creative City of Design and a thought leader for Global-Asian design excellence. About this Role The Manager / Senior Manager (Digital Marketing) will be responsible for planning and executing Dsg’s overall content marketing strategy. The role will oversee the development of a suite of branded content for cross platform proliferation, and curate the rollout based on key message thrusts and events. The role will also assist the SAD (Marcomms) in driving performance marketing initiatives to maximize paid media ROI. Responsibilities We are seeking a self-initiated individual who lives and breathes digital marketing, enjoys working with people, and has an interest in design. Here is what you will do:

  • Plan, implement and execute content marketing plans to maximize the marketing and promotional mileage for Dsg, its initiatives, exhibitions and programmes.
  • Oversee the development of content for the Overall Marcomms Calendar, which signposts all digital and social content proliferated through the website, social media platforms and performance marketing channels.
  • Identify content syndication opportunities for Dsg’s branded content and work with third party publishers advocates to maximize reach and awareness.
  • Plan and execute advertising buys and placements to achieve campaign key performance indicators. These include but are not limited to social platforms, display networks, SEM, email, content partnerships and OOH advertising.
  • Manage and maintain the Dsg Website, overseeing content development for stories and developing a series of evergreen content to profile Dsg’s initiatives.
  • On the technical front, support the team to perform Webmaster functions and oversee maintenance and any requisite technical development works for the website. This includes the management of appointed agencies for web development, maintenance and hosting.
  • Support the team for Dsg’s e-newsletter platforms, delivering regular marketing messages to drive visitorship and participation.
  • Supporting specific initiatives, exhibitions and programmes as Comms Partner. These include representing Marcomms at cross-functional meetings, assembling Marcomms personnel and resources to drive overall take-up and participation. Activities may include media & PR, content marketing, partnerships, promotions, collateral and merchandise development.
Requirements This role is all about constantly creating fresh new marketing and promotional opportunities for Dsg and the Singapore design brand. You must have/be:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of proven working experience in digital marketing.
  • Highly creative with demonstratable experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate user action.
  • Proficiency in optimizing and executing SEO/SEM, PPC, social media ads and Display Advertising. You also have a strong knowledge of Google Analytics and CRM software.
  • Possess working knowledge in designing marketing automation processes, lead generation campaigns, optimising landing pages and user funnels and A/B testing.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Independent and highly adaptable to changes. Able to juggle multiple projects with good time management. Team player who can work cross functionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
