What the role is:
Manager / Senior Manager (Incubation)
What you will be working on:
Manage incubation processes, including renting of offices to startups, and activities in Temasek Launchpad
Lead team to organize startup activities, including workshops, demo days, pitching sessions, marketing initiatives, and events.
Provide startup mentorships
Manage mentorship and incubation programs
Lead team to work with Schools to identify budding startups
Manage social media for Temasek Launchpad
Manage programs that drive startup growth and development, including funding schemes, e.g. preseed fund
Build relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., incubators, accelerators, venture capitalists) to facilitate startup growth.
What we are looking for:
At least 5 to 8 years experience in incubation activities (including startup, incubator or venture capital) will be preferred
Candidates with relevant qualifications in Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Project Management, Business Analytics, Mentorship, or Innovation would be preferred
Meticulous, independent, resourceful, and self-reliant.
Proactive, driven, and accountable with a strong sense of task ownership.
Collaborative team player with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Strong interpersonal, nurturing, and communication skills; able to engage effectively with individuals at all levels (alums and students).
IT and Canva savvy with an eye for design and strong branding/marketing skills.
Nurturing and supportive in approach.
