What the role is:
The Communications and Engagement Group (CEG) in MOE works towards strengthening public trust in the education system by informing and connecting with its stakeholders to achieve positive educational outcomes. As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Media Relations in the Communications Division under the CEG, you will be a part of a dynamic team promoting the effective communication of education policies and programmes to enhance the understanding of Singapore's education system.
What you will be working on:

• Advise MOE Divisions on communication plans and matters for their policies and programmes, and develop integrated communication plans for key events and announcements o Strategise and develop social media and digital content, including conceptualisation, producing graphics/ digital content, copywriting and copyediting o Supervise external vendors in the conceptualisation and timely production of digital assets, which includes identifying, evaluating, procuring and rolling out content partnerships to reach external audiences o Identify key themes, topics and formats that resonate with target digital audiences and drive online engagement, and experiment with new content formats, platforms and tactics to enhance performance and drive continuous growth o Track and analyse key performance metrics (e.g. reach, engagement) to assess effectiveness of content initiatives o Analyse media and social media reports on education-related issues and manage media requests

What we are looking for:

• At least 3 years of experience in media relations, content production, marketing communications, copywriting or digital/ social media development o Good understanding and familiarity with social media platforms, trends, etc. o Possess creative thinking, strong project management and writing skills, as well as an eye for visuals and details o Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, e.g. CapCut would be an advantage o Team player, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, work independently with stakeholders and adapt quickly, and with good time management skills o Strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to translate talking points, speeches or social media posts to vernacular languages would be an advantage As part of the processing of your application, you may be required to undergo a medical examination that will be fully paid by MOE.
