What the role is:
As Manager/ Senior Manager, School Campus (Quantity Surveying) in the Infrastructure and Facility Services Division, you will be part of a dynamic team that manages the costing, procurement and contract management of facilities management (FM) services and school infrastructure enhancements, additions and alterations for a conducive teaching and learning environment.
What you will be working on:

• Establish and review procurement and administration strategies, procedures and processes for FM contracts, which can include improvement works requiring consultancy services and regulatory considerations o Provide procurement and contractual advice on FM matters, improvement works, addition and alteration (A&A) matters, including reviewing the tender or quotation specifications to ensure that the Ministry's requirements and needs are met o Manage and coordinate procurement-related work, including preparing FM tender specifications, budgeting, calling for FM tenders or quotations, evaluating tender proposals, putting up tender award recommendations for approval and preparing contract documents for awarded tenders o Manage Variation Orders for FM services adjustments, including valuation for Superintending Officer's Instruction (SOI), as well as progress claims from FM contractors and vendors o Oversee quotation, payment, budgeting and expenditure in FM operations including budget utilisation and cost control monitoring, budget and cost analysis, FM maintenance deliverables audits, and acquisition of external services

What we are looking for:

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying o Experience in FM contracts management would be an advantage o Good knowledge and understanding of the built environment industry and the relevant regulations, conditions of contract, bill of quantities and cost estimation o A proactive and effective team player with strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, analytical and project management skills In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 4 weeks from the close of the application window.
