To build up Singapore\'s space ecosystem and advance Singapore\'s space interests, OSTIn seeks to:
- Nurture the build-up of local space technology capabilities through investments in R&D
- Grow a globally competitive local space industry;
- Develop policies and regulations to support Singapore\'s space activities;
- Expand bilateral and multilateral partnerships, and contribute to strengthening the international governance regime for space activities; and
- Support the development of talent for Singapore\'s space sector and future workforce.What you will be working on:In this role, your responsibilities will include:Developing Singapore\'s national space strategy, with close consultation with relevant WoG agencies, considering security, economic, social and legal perspectives.Developing supporting strategies and policies to align OSTIn\'s technology, industry and partnership units and external stakeholders in pursuing space strategy deliverables.Reviewing the relevance of the national space strategy and policies along with the constantly evolving landscape, to ensure continual alignment with Singapore\'s strategic needs and target economic outcomes.Convening regular interagency working groups to update and seek input on space issues with relevant agencies.Executing corporate planning functions in alignment with the space strategy implementation, including finance budgeting, human resourcing, performance reporting and corporate communications.Developing strategy and policy briefs to OSTIn/WoG principals, to apprise them on the direction and implications of current/future strategy and policies.Performing secretariat functions at Board/EXCO and management meetings.What we are looking for:To meet the challenges of this role, you must have:A strong interest and passion in space technologies and their impactAt least 6 years of work experience in roles to do with research and strategy planningConfident in public speaking and able to facilitate discussions with stakeholdersExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken, and experience working with diverse stakeholdersSelf-motivated with a positive attitude, have excellent work ethic and a team playerSingaporeanWe review applications and interview on a rolling basis.
