What the role is:The officer will be part of a team working with both government and private organisations to meet national interests.What you will be working on:These tasks include formulation of contingency plans to mitigate peacetime crisis and emerging risks brought forth by climate change and hazards from the use of new energy sources such as green fuels. The roles and responsibilities will also include review of our MPA Crisis Management framework and contingency plans, and conducting regular crisis management exercises to validate WoG ops readiness and coordinated responsiveness. He/She will also be required to support EP systems\' capability development, knowledge management of EP information, operational readiness, as well as training and exercises planning and evaluation.What we are looking for:At least 5 years of experience in developing emergency plans and exercise planning,Past experience in the shipping, logistics or supply chain industry will be an added advantageHighly driven, organized, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a teamSuccessful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent appointment.About Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore:"The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) was established on 2 February 1996, with the mission to develop Singapore as a premier global hub port and international maritime centre (IMC), and to advance and safeguard Singapore\'s strategic maritime interests.
