- Manage a portfolio of distressed, watch-list, and non-performing accounts.
- Prepare and present credit proposal on credit facilities restructuring and recovery action plans to management/Special Assets Committee
- Support enforcement actions, litigation, or insolvency proceedings
- Engage and negotiate with clients, legal counsel, receivers, and other stakeholders
- Performs in-depth key credit risks and mitigation analysis and provides recommendation in clear and concise manner to maintain/improve loans asset quality
- Provides general oversight of work processes and controls for the whole credit process including those arising (without limitation) from Business and Corporate Banking, Credit Administration, Loans Operations and Trade Operations
- Manages credit risks of borrowing portfolio of Business and Corporate Banking via ensuring timely completion of credit evaluation of periodic credit review and tracking on compliance of covenants/conditions
- Provides guidance to Relationship Managers of Business and Corporate Banking to improve on credit quality and credit underwriting skills and ensure compliance with Credit Policies and regulatory guidelines
- Ad hoc tasks/projects assigned by management from time to time
