RPG undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children and families. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to break cycles of abuse, neglect and offending. As part of the RPG family, Adult Protective Service (APS) undertakes statutory functions to protect vulnerable adults, oversees the National Family Violence Networking System and works with partners to ensure an effective protection system for individuals and families.What you will be working on:This role falls under the Strategy & Planning Branch which oversees policies related to vulnerable adult protection, stakeholder and media engagement, capability development, resource management and data strategy. Your role is to work closely with government agencies, social service providers and other relevant stakeholders to develop the capability of professionals in the Adult Protection Sector. You will have opportunities to work closely with internal stakeholders and service providers to develop and implement learning and development initiatives to develop the competencies of adult protection professionals. Your duties include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct training needs analysis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and deliver learning materials. \xe2\x80\xa2 Service provider management, which includes designing vendor requirement specifications, managing vendor selection process and contract management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan training activities with stakeholders; like agency leaders and subject matter experts, and communicate training schedules promptly. \xe2\x80\xa2 Facilitate learning across multiple delivery modes e.g., stand up trainings and virtual trainings. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct pre- and post-evaluations to assess learning effectiveness. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain training calendar. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assess potential opportunities to integrate technology and systems with curriculum. \xe2\x80\xa2 Taking on secretariat duties for family violence-related workgroups. \xe2\x80\xa2 Management of vulnerable adult protection case(s) as part of learning about APS\' operational work.What we are looking for:Requirements Functional/Technical Competencies: \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in designing and delivering learning facilitation and evaluation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to conduct needs analysis. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 2 years of relevant working experience in learning and development, social services related jobs will be an added advantage. Behaviour Competencies: \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong aptitude in relating to different stakeholders and achieving win-win outcomes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrates a growth mindset, proactiveness and resourcefulness.
