Job Description

The role will support in the overall warehouse operations including the operational objectives are alignment to the business objectives.

• Lead and direct staff in daily activities to ensure smooth and efficient running of operations

• Planning on staff load, equipment, storage and daily tasks to ensure adequate resources are consistently available to meet customer\'s requirements

• Plans and assures adequate equipment for storage, loading and delivery of goods

• Perform inventory management, productivity, accuracy and loss prevention programs to ensure that customers\' requirements are met

• Regularly review the operation throughput, warehouse utilization etc to continuously improve and ensure the systems, facilities and manpower are productive and adequate to handle future growth

• Plan and manage the P&L for the respective account to ensure on time deliveries

• Direct activities to limit cost, improve accuracy, safety and to provide and maintain good customer service level

• Ensure safety and and policies and quality standards are observed by all staffs in the operations areas

• Cost management, ensure timely and accurate billings are submitted monthly and preparation of annual operating budget

• Implements safety, security, housekeeping and sanitation programs

• Build, motivate and coach operational team to ensure overall business objectives are met

• Generate monthly performance data / reports to ensure that customers\' requirements are met

• Implement work improvement initiatives and programs such as 5S, Kaizens, LEAN and Continuous Improvement Project with the goal of achieving Singpost standards of Operational Excellence

• Responsible for ensuring all SOPs, Work Instructions, and OJT documentation and related work processes are updated and comply with regulatory requirements and the Company\'s Quality standards

• Any other duties or projects as assigned
