You will report to the Assistant Director and play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the Product Management team by identifying and removing impediments to ensure timely and seamless delivery / operationalisation of the products assigned to you.As the go-to person for multiple Product Managers and cross-functional product teams, your efforts will support the delivery of products such as the NLB Mobile App, Seat Booking System, Express Borrowing Gantry, and future products like the Content Discovery App.What you will be working on:
  • Proactively identify and resolve impediments, escalating issues and risks when necessary to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Manage and track product backlog and cross-product/team/squad dependencies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee and track all high-integrity commitments, ensuring they are met and communicated effectively to stakeholders.
  • Provide clear visibility on key metrics, delivery targets, commitments, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Support Product Managers in managing user engagement by developing strategies and plans to engage internal and external stakeholders for product launches, adoption, awareness, and education.
  • Optimise team efficiency by minimizing unnecessary meetings and ensuring required updates are well-structured and productive.
What we are looking for:
  • At least one year of relevant experience, ideally in a product-focused organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of the roles and responsibilities within product teams, including Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, QA, DevOps, and Marketers.
  • Familiarity with the lifecycle of large-scale software systems, from design and development to deployment and user delivery.
  • Strong grasp of delivery and go-to-market methods and metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of tools like Excel and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, XP) is preferred.
  • Design skills and experience with design tools are a plus.
Work Location:
You will be based at Marine Parade Public Library. Currently, the library is undergoing renovation, so the interim work location is at the National Library Building.This is a project-based contract position until 31 Mar 2026.About National Library Board:To each reader, the library is a window to a vibrant imagination and exciting possibilities.
