Responsibilities

• primary contact to investment manager, investors, lawyers, auditors and custodians
• Investment fund/ entity formation
• Prepare and review all documentation, including offering memorandum, investment management agreement, subscription agreement
• Setting up a bank account for the fund
• Perform key fund services processes such as investor onboarding, KYC and capital calls
• Prepare capital account statements
• Track and model draw-down of cash flow of asset classes
• Review fundings and distributions, recording of cash movements and payment of management, performance fees and other expenses.
• Calculate net asset value of the fund(s)
• Maintain accounting books in accordance with fund governing documents and International Financial Reporting Standards
• Co-ordinate annual audit process for investment entities and ensuring timely delivery of the audited financial statements and ancillary documentation
• Monitor key portfolio exposures such as by asset class, geographies, sectors, etc.
• Maintain the register of investors
• Reconcile, process and confirm investor subscriptions and redemptions
• Track investor commitments, capital calls and distribution
• Handle investor communication and corporate action of the fund
• Prepare operational policies, processes and procedures; monitor compliance with policies and procedures; and recommend opportunities for office operational improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or any related discipline
• Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience working in fund operations, either from a fund administrator, buy-side fund, or a multinational bank
• Good legal, regulatory knowledge in financial services sector
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
