Responsibilities

• Business partnering with Finance Shared Service, Operations teams and joint venture partners to provide advice on financial reporting and planning activities;
• Review monthly closing of accounts, prepare financial reports, analysis for management\xe2\x80\x99s decision making and ensure compliance with group\xe2\x80\x99s accounting policies
• Review and monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projection for loan drawdown or repayment decisions, monitoring of loan covenants
• Review GST reporting and income tax computations
• Preparation of financial statements, distributable income, liaise with auditors and tax agents and ensure compliance with Singapore financial reporting standards
• Work closely with finance teams of subsidiaries to ensure timely reporting and accurate analysis of actual, forecast and budget
• Coordinate the annual forecasting and budgeting exercise of the Group
• Assist in preparation of budget presentation slides and approval paper
• Perform financial simulation or scenario planning and ongoing process improvements
• Work closely with other departments for various ad-hoc projects

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or CPA
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in consolidation and financial reporting
• Knowledge of Cognos Controller (consolidation) is preferred
• Experience in in the real estate industry is preferred
• Good understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards SFRS(I) and strong technical and analytical skills
• Able to work independently and deliver under tight deadline
• Advanced PowerPoint is preferred and practical usage of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
