What the role is:As a Manager/Senior Manager, Analytics in the Internal Audit Branch, you will identify and establish the scope and methodology for applying data analytics in audit work. You will also identify emerging trends from the Ministry\'s data and highlight potential risks and areas to follow-up.What you will be working on:

• Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including data owners, internal auditors, IT consultants and vendors on the identification and gathering of data required for the design and refinement of audit tests \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform extraction and analysis of data to identify emerging trends and/ or pertinent issues for audit focus, including conducting data validation tests for further verification of issues/ trends \xe2\x80\xa2 Strengthen data analytics, visualisation and robotic process automation (RPA) capabilities in the Branch to enhance efficiency \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with data scientists to design and build analytical models to enhance audit planning and effectiveness \xe2\x80\xa2 Establish and maintain SOP for the development and maintenance of data analytics, data visualisation and RPA tools for the branch

What we are looking for:

• Experience in Computer Science, Statistics or Electrical/ Electronic Engineering related fields \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large sets of data \xe2\x80\xa2 Resourcefulness and meticulousness \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Competent in a variety of tools such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in audit, knowledge of business processes and/ or machine-learning techniques would be an advantage In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
