What the role is:
As Manager/Senior Manager, Editor, you will craft compelling written content that highlights HTX's innovations and expertise, translating complex science and technology topics such as artificial intelligence (AI) into engaging stories for web and social media. You will also champion the use of Generative AI (GAI) to enhance content ideation, iteration, and efficiency, ensuring that HTX's communications remain at the forefront of digital storytelling.
What you will be working on:

• Content creation: Write and edit engaging long- and short-form content, including interviews, profiles, explainers, and thought leadership pieces, for both web and social media. GAI integration: Leverage AI tools to ideate, iterate, and repurpose written content efficiently. Expertise in AI writing tools: Maintain proficiency with AI tools, continuously exploring new ways to improve writing and content development. Champion AI in communications: Advocate for and integrate AI into Strategic Communications workflows to enhance content quality, efficiency, and scalability. Interviewing & research: Conduct interviews with subject matter experts and leadership to produce insightful and engaging written content. Science & technology storytelling: Translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives for a broad audience. Editorial oversight: Ensure content adheres to HTX's brand voice, messaging guidelines, and strategic objectives. Uphold HTX's brand image and ensure consistency in tone and messaging across all digital touchpoints.

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications from a recognised institution in digital marketing, communications, or a related field. Strong writing and editorial skills, with experience crafting content for web, social media, and digital platforms. Familiarity with AI tools for writing, content ideation, and editing. Ability to explain science and technology in an accessible and engaging manner. Experience conducting interviews and turning conversations into compelling stories. Strong grasp of digital content trends and best practices. Digitally savvy and adaptable, with a strong interest in AI-driven content creation. Curious and analytical, with a passion for translating complex topics into engaging stories. Proactive and independent, with a drive to explore new content approaches and tools. Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to high-quality writing and storytelling. Enthusiastic about championing AI and innovation in communications. Creative and collaborative, with the ability to develop strategies that resonate with diverse audiences. Fun-loving, positive learning attitude and enthusiasm for using technology to improve processes and outcomes. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
