We\'re looking for a - Manager/Senior Manager, Employee & Labour Relations - to join our regional APAC People team, based in Singapore.

Employee and Labour Relations is an increasingly critical function for us, focused on caring for our employees and upholding our foodpanda culture and values across our diverse regional workforce. In this exciting new and unique role, you will work closely with the Head of People (APAC), HR country leaders and business partners across multiple countries in APAC, as well as global cross functional teams such as Risk and Compliance, and Legal. You will focus on drafting policies and providing policy interpretation, advising on misconduct and performance issues, investigations, and decision reviews.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of HR experience and 3+ years of experience managing employee and labour relations
  • Strong knowledge in employee relations, labor relations and labor law in Singapore and APAC countries. Exposure to, and a full appreciation of, the regulatory environment in the context of employee conduct / disciplinary matters preferred.
  • Individual contributor role; great communication skills requiring strong partnering with various key stakeholders and also being a team player.
  • Proven track record in dealing with a wide range of complex first and second stage grievances and disciplinaries.
  • Experience working within a complex, fast paced and challenging business environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to partner effectively with key internal stakeholders including senior business leaders.
  • Confidence, gravitas and credibility together with a robust and resilient personality.
  • A growth mindset with big picture thinking yet a focus on detail and precision.
  • Able to handle confidential information in a mature and professional manner.
