Established in 1973, the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmChamSG) is the largest and the most active international business association in Singapore and Southeast Asia, with nearly 700 American and other global companies with significant U.S. business interests.

About the Role

AmChamSG seeks a highly organized and proactive Manager/Senior Manager to be part of the External Affairs team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic development of AmChamSG's 12 Sectoral and Functional Committees.





The position allows for significant exposure to business leaders across a wide range of industries and sectors and therefore requires high emotional intelligence, clear communication skills, and a personable and professional presence. This is a people-oriented role that requires a professional who is a detail-oriented self-starter and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Major Responsibilities

Lead the activities of the 12 AmChamSG Sectoral and Functional Committees, including development, planning, and execution of committee events Regularly engage with Committee Co-Chairs, including guiding committee programming strategy, ensuring alignment with AmChamSG's strategic priorities, development of committee programming, and driving member engagement Grow committee member engagement, including outreach and tracking Maintain and update internal documents and reporting related to Committee operations, programming, and member engagement

Requirements

Strong candidates will have a sophisticated understanding of relationship management, as well as demonstrated success with project management. They must be able to acclimate quickly, assess internal and external priorities and establish the relationships they need to move forward and execute. The candidate must be able to work independently yet collaboratively in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.
