What the role is:A*STAR Human Resource (HR) Division\'s vision is to develop all staff to their fullest potential and to help them make meaningful contributions to their department, to the organisation and to Singapore. The HR Division comprises the Recruitment, HR Planning and Policy, Talent Management, HR Analytics, HR Operations, HR Partners and People Development & Planning Office departments.What you will be working on:The HR Policy unit drives the direction and development of HR policies to ensure market relevance and competitiveness. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the following key areas of work: \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive the formulation and development of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to meet organisational needs, keep pace with the market and ensure alignment with national directives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Engage key stakeholders in the design and review of policies to get buy-in and ensure robustness, coherence and implementable before effecting change. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review of current policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with Public Service Division. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure policy documents are kept up to date and published timely and accurately in circulars, EDMs and on A*STAR\'s intranet. \xe2\x80\xa2 Partner business units to understand business and workforce requirements and develop workforce plans to meet these demands, in line with A*STAR\'s manpower strategy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work in a team to identify gaps, highlight key trends and advise senior management and stakeholders on policies, planning and procedures.What we are looking for:Job Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 1 year of relevant experience in HR \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, good quantitative skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to translate concepts into implementation plans \xe2\x80\xa2 Resourceful and motivated \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work independently and in a team to deliver results under tight timelines \xe2\x80\xa2 Pro-active, attentive to details and results-oriented The above eligibility criteria are not exhaustive.
