What you will be working on:
Strategic Manpower Planning o Identify and assess key industry, manpower challenges and skills needs o Engage strategic accounts and engage companies to diagnose gaps and identify opportunities o Recommend the design of appropriate strategic human capital solutions based on industry or enterprises' business and manpower needs o Support the industry's transformation, particularly referencing Jobs Transformation Map (JTM) and Industry Transformation Map. Stakeholder Engagement and Management o Establish and maintain effective relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders o Collaborate with industry stakeholders including government agencies, associations, tripartite partners, programme partners to develop and implement relevant manpower interventions to address industry manpower issues o Consult with employers to promote adoption of WSG programmes and progressive human resource practices to address their manpower needs o Develop deep understanding of employers' hiring demands and recommend suitable manpower solutions to meet their needs o Coordinate with employers on the hiring outcome and monitor closely on the sector hiring demand Project Management o Plan and review budget requirements and ensure compliance to policies and processes o Organise or support outreach and marketing events such as career events and industry engagements o Track programmes' progress and analyse industry related information to evaluate and make recommendations for management decision making o Support programme reporting through KPI monitoring, budget forecasting, and coordinate stakeholder meetings to ensure smooth implementation of industry engagement initiatives
What we are looking for:
Requirements o Fresh graduates are welcome as training will be provided on the job Knowledge/Skills o Awareness of government efforts relating to manpower, workforce or human capital interventions would be advantageous o Strong communications skills and able to interpret and explain government objectives to stakeholders and enterprises. o Experience in industry engagement, account/ project management and/or consultancy roles is a bonus o Strong networking skills and stakeholder management capabilities o Good project management skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders or priorities Abilities/Aptitudes: o Detail-oriented and a strong strategic thinker o Able to innovate and possess strong problem-solving capabilities o Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions o Able to work well both independently and in teams o Highly adaptable and receptive to ambiguity and changes

Workforce Singapore (WSG) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). It will oversee the transformation of the local workforce and industry to meet ongoing economic challenges.
