Our client is a global multinational real estate company headquartered in Singapore. We are currently hiring an experienced Research & Business Strategy professional to be part of the Corporate Strategy team.Focused on identifying strategic issues impacting the Group and its future, we believe that it is important to stay abreast of market developments and activities that our businesses are invested to generate actionable insights that deliver value to our shareholders.In this role, you will be conducting macroeconomic, real estate, corporate finance research and analysis. You will be adding value by helping to articulate the strategic and business implications from research to Group management and business units. This role involves exposure to real estate across asset classes and geographies, and analytics in a business context and provides interaction with senior management, internal and external parties.If you are intellectually curious, thrives working in an ever-evolving environment and shares our core values of collaborative, respectful, progressive and real, we are keen to meet you!WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Prepare and present research briefs on topics impacting real estate investment and strategy decision making, including global and regional / country macroeconomic outlook, real estate sector fundamentals and business competitive research
• Help to deliver calibrated and thoughtful market commentary for the Group\'s annual management and board strategy discussions, leadership conferences and financial releases
• Working with business units, help formulate House Views that map out investment, business model and product development implications.
• Provide research support for designing strategic corporate initiatives such as digital transformation
• Undertake corporate financial analysis to help inform Group\'s management on key strategic and investment decisions
• Help supervise work and provide guidance to junior member of the Research team
• Work closely with other members of the Chief Strategy and Planning Officer\'s team across both strategy and planning areas

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration or Finance with strong record of academic achievement
• Minimally 5 years of relevant experience in economic, real estate or equity research
• Possess strong and structured analytical and written skills, ability to connect the dots between market research to business implications, intellectual curiosity, deep sense of ownership and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Powerpoint and ability to create effective decks for communicating research insights to business audience
• Good MS Excel skills and ability to develop simple Excel models to analyse complex issues critically
• Familiarity with economic and financial research tools - WorldBank Database, MatLab, Bloomberg, CapitaIQ will be a bonus
