What the role is:The role is responsible for a flexible, productive and joyful workplace for staff, through providing tools and experiences that support care, connections and collaboration to enhance staff engagement and sense of belonging.What you will be working on:You will be responsible for: -1) Facilities management of the NAC office premise to provide a flexible, comfortable and safe physical work environment by:a.Managing the upkeep of equipment to meet health and safety standardsb.Scheduling routine inspections, maintenance and emergency repairs with vendorsc.Inspecting of facilities to ensure they are functioning well and to determine the need for preventive maintenance, repairs or renovationsd.Working with cleaning, landscaping and pest control vendors to ensure the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor spaces, and to maintain an aesthetically pleasing physical environment to support employee well-being, productivity and performancee.Planning, coordinating and overseeing of all building-related activities, including installations and refurbishmentsf.Preparing service contracts and necessary documentation for procurement of goods and servicesg.Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors2) Building a culture of sustainability within the organisation, including:a.Collection, monitoring, analysing and presentation of data and information to develop and implement sustainability goals and strategies and put in place frameworks and processes to ensure optimal utilisation of resourcesb.Prepare sustainability reportsc.Monitor compliance with environmental and social standards and regulatory requirements3) Office administrative matters including, but not limited to, assets management, keeping of financial and non-financial recordsWhat we are looking for:

  • Candidates with at least 3 years\' experience in facilities management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer oriented with positive service attitude and pleasant disposition
  • Well organised, resourceful, and meticulous; with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to perform analysis and forecasting
  • Good analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
