We are currently seeking a Manager/Sr. Manager, Market Planning & Performance, APAC for the core platform business within the Commercial function. Reporting to the Director, APAC, you will form a part of the department\'s leadership team, helping drive the commercial strategy & excellence of foodpanda across 11 markets in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a close working relationship with regional and country commercial teams to plan, prioritize and execute different initiatives like Ads revenue, vendor-funded deals, listings healths, vendor availability, preferred programs, price-parity etc
  • Conduct performance reviews with country commercial teams through regular cadence and help them identify areas of improvement and new opportunities, in line with business objectives and targets
  • Allocate and align on topic wise targets, including target allocations between different sub-teams within commercial. It\'ll also include measuring progress against targets regularly, giving timely visibility to country and regional stakeholders on run-rates.
  • Work with regional and country teams to Introduce specific initiatives and sprints to cover the gap for various performance metrics. Conduct thorough analysis of performance reports for such initiatives, especially success metrics
  • Identify training needs for account-managers to ensure that they are adequately trained and equipped to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of commercial experience preferably in hyper-growth startup/e-commerce/retail
  • Proven leadership ability, with minimum 2-3 years of team management experience, to motivate and execute within a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and drive a highly motivated and performance-driven team across multiple geographies and cultures.
  • Track record of solid data analysis, understanding sales numbers, and monitoring daily metrics to drive business process improvement
  • Ability to work autonomously in a demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Structured thought process & strong analytical ability
