Managing Consultant - Resilience Consulting

Marsh Advisory Asia\xe2\x80\x99s Strategic Risk Consulting practice is seeking an experienced risk consultant to advise and prepare clients, from across the region and all industries, to improve organizational resilience to an ever-evolving operating risk environment.

We will count on you to:

• Conduct business development activities, to include development and delivery of client presentations and proposals
• Lead a team of early-career consultants to deliver projects. Key activities include developing work plans, conducting document reviews and client stakeholder interviews and producing written deliverables like reports, templates and plans
• Serve as subject matter expert for some, or all, of the following organizational resilience disciplines: emergency response, business continuity management, crisis management, physical security, supply chain risk management and product recall
• Demonstrate leadership of early-career consultants through on-the-job training and development during resilience consulting projects
• Perform effective project management for a portfolio of concurrent engagements in terms of meeting client expectations, executing project activities on-time and on-budget
• Personally deliver or lead team delivery of risk assessments, business impact analyses, business continuity planning, scenario-based table-top and live exercises (business continuity, reputational crisis, product recall) and resilience maturity assessments

What you need to have:

• 6 to 10 years of professional experience with at least three consecutive years as a resilience consultant
• In-house corporate resilience experience will be considered
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field i.e. business, engineering, accounting, finance, security
• Experience applying COSO or ISO 31000 risk management frameworks on consulting projects or in an in-house role
• Membership or accreditation with Business Continuity Institute, Disaster Recovery Institute or another relevant risk management body
• English language fluency, both written and spoken
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

What makes you stand out:

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant discipline as described above
• Professional proficiency in a language other than English
• Experience in the insurance broking and/or underwriting industry
• Track record of selling and/or delivering large consulting projects ($100k+ USD) in Asia or elsewhere
• Experience or demonstrable familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management, Cyber Risk or Climate Risk
