ExxonMobil in Singapore

ExxonMobil is one of Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s largest foreign manufacturing investors with over S$25 billion in fixed asset investments.

We have manufacturing facilities that include an integrated world-scale refining and petrochemical complex in Jurong and Jurong Island, a network of service stations under the Esso brand, operate a lubricant plant and are a supplier of cylinder cooking gas. What role you will play in our team

You will work with a team of IT engineers in Singapore and other regions to support existing and implement new manufacturing applications for chemical and refining facilities around the globe. These manufacturing applications are used by local users or users in technology centers to monitor and optimization plant operations, and manage chemicals, fuels, and lubes product quality.

What you will do

The key responsibilities for a Manufacturing Application Systems Analyst will be:

• Apply existent design guidelines to develop, test, and install low to medium complexity software solutions, which could include scripting and coding
• Understand and apply Application Lifecycle Management, including requirements gathering, change management, release management and support models
• Design, develop and maintain solutions considering User Centered Design (UCD), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Enterprise Architecture Mandates, Supportability and Reliability
• Maintain and update technical documents and procedures
• Deliver regular training to internal stakeholders or end users
• Participate in Technology Introductions working with IT Organizations and Vendors on Proofs of Concept
• Support global migration of systems
• Collaborate with IT teams and business teams in other regions

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering/IT/Computer Science
• Strong analytical skills as well as incident and change management experience/knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Working experience coordinating activities with other support teams (infrastructure and leading developers as example) and business clients
• Demonstrated leadership qualities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Innovative and open mindset, highly adaptable to change
• Broad understand of agile methodology concepts
• Strong customer focus, expected to cultivate relationships
• Takes ownership of problem resolution, and is able to multi-task well and meet deadlines Experience in Cloud technologies concepts and deployment (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, FaaS)
