Date Posted: 2024-04-16Country: SingaporeLocation: 11 Changi North Rise, SingaporePosition Role Type: Unspecified-Focal Manufacturing Engineer (M.E) responsible for Housing Cells overseeing VFG, APU GBX, FP, ACM HSG, GBX, SIP, MXM, IDG and technical support for Housing Cells Including Back End, providing day-to-day technical support to Operations on technical troubleshooting and resolving technical issues relating to internal and external customers\' feedback (M.R.B resolution, andon support/ response, real-time problem resolution (RTPR)
- Incorporate engineering change, inactive part reactivation, and process change to support the production and deliverables of the parts.
- Initiate and champion a cost Productivity Improvement Project (PIP) and initiative targeted for a 5% year-over-year cost reduction, focusing on setup and process cycle time improvement, but not limited to equipment/ fixture, design enhancement, and deployment.
- Lead, evaluate, and responsible for manufacturing procedures development and engineering data/ document control to ensure the initiatives meet site-established targets and standards
- Implement, oversee, and adapt policies and activities of the engineering function and encourage the exchange of information, ideas, and techniques in the various engineering
fields, to support the operations. Examples are OEE, Andon System, and Mfg. Standard work.
- Embrace and implement the CORE operating system to achieve CORE professional certification and beyond.Provide consequences to business/operations if the backfill is not approved
- Unable to sustain continuity of cost improvement initiatives and implementation plan. Hence, the YOY target of 5% will be affected.
- Deliverables of NPI and Engineering change implementation/ incorporation for the Cells will be impacted (development, prove-out, and implementation of new programs and/or ongoing program enhancements)
- Quality issues resolution and engineering troubleshooting to restore production delivery impacted, especially area 1 & 2 the housing cells.
- Speed of response/ rate of response delay supporting the day-to-day technical support (ANDON and RTPR).
