An Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes using advanced technologies. The role focuses on improving production efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness through innovation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Process Design & Optimization
Design and implement advanced manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC, robotics, additive manufacturing).
Analyze workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout for process improvement.
Use Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase productivity.

2. Technology Integration
Evaluate and integrate new manufacturing technologies, including Industry 4.0 solutions.
Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Oversee automation projects such as PLC, robotics, and MES systems.

3. Equipment & Tooling
Specify, procure, and validate new equipment and tooling for production lines.
Ensure preventive maintenance programs are in place for optimal equipment performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues.

4. Quality Assurance
Work closely with quality teams to establish process control systems and reduce defect rates.
Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.

5. Project Management
Lead or support manufacturing-related projects from concept to production launch.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project milestones are met.
Track budgets, timelines, and deliverables for all assigned projects.

6. Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and maintain process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and validation reports.
Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience:
3-7 years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in high-tech or precision industries.
Skills:
Proficiency in CAD/CAM, SolidWorks, and simulation tools.
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred).
Knowledge of automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
