Responsibilities

Evaluation of equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for operations

Design and develop mechanical hardware to ensure robust test setup and reduce the test cost

Design test hardware to meet the mass production test requirement

Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment

Maintain records on equipment technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues

\xe2\x80\x8bEstablish programs and solutions to improve equipment performance

Provide technical support to factory equipment repair

Define and write preventative maintenance procedure

Travel to test factories to resolve test HW issues

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

3+ years of direct work experience in a semiconductor Final Test/Probe environment

Experience with industry standard Automated Test Handler

PCB Hardware & schematic layout knowledge

Soldering skills with knowledge of IPC standards

Experience in setup of Electronics Test and Measurement Equipment

Basic knowledge of Linux commands & Perl programming

Good Microsoft knowledge of Power Point Slide presentation and Excel spreadsheet

Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control)

Familiarity with quality procedure and documentation

Excellent communication skills as well as detail-oriented work ethics

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements

Project management knowledge
