Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Attend to daily production technical /product issues to ensure smooth production flow
• Propose tool and fixture design / modification for process improvements
• Manage a team of engineering assistants in providing technical support during manufacturing operation
• Support engineering evaluation study due to component EOL and preparation for NPI
• Validate equipment maintenance and review technical documents
• Coordinated with vendors on machine spares and equipments for production
• Conduct training and certification for relevant technicians
• Ensure that all relevant processes comply with quality requirements (customer, ISO9001 and regulatory) , conduct investigations and implement corrective actions as required
• Establish/ update document on processes parameter, work instruction and operating procedures

Experiences and Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess problems or issues
• Good organizational skills, self starter
• A team player who is able to work well within a team environment
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good knowledge of automation and vision application
• Knowledge in lean manufacturing, laser / robotics is an added advantage
