Job Summary

Candidate is involved in development of specialized automation/hardware measurement tools used for product testing of printers. Work closely with HP Engineers and Tool vendors to define/design/validate these tools according to Product and RnD requirements. Follow up closely on tool development and delivery to meet program requirement. Develop proper documentations after tool buy off. Training and mentoring will be provided. Candidate is expected to be fully on site to support HP team especially during NPI build. Occasional travel to HP offices and vendors sites for tool discussion and validation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement specialized measurement/automation tools for printer testing Manage and followup closely on tool development and delivery with our assigned tool vendor according to program requirement Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ongoing support for such tools on site Create and maintain technical documentation, BOM, and system diagrams where applicable

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or any related field 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing environment with production tools and automation Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong sense of urgency according to program schedule Strong communication and teamwork skills Strong CAD drawing skills Strong mechanical skills * Some electrical and electronic skills
