Job Description

*Company is specializing in plastic products.

Develop and optimize laser drilling processes for precision manufacturing applications. Collaborate with design and NPI teams to ensure manufacturability of new products. Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues in laser drilling operations. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations. Define and maintain process parameters, tooling, and equipment settings. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, cycle time, and product quality. Create and maintain documentation including work instructions, process flows, and control plans. Train production staff and technicians on laser drilling procedures and safety protocols. Evaluate and implement new laser technologies and equipment upgrades. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Liaise with US, Malaysia and Singapore technical and engineering staffs to resolve any engineering issues that may occur from time to time Perform any ad hoc tasks assigned by the manager.

Job Requirements

ITE / NTC / Diploma in Precision Machinery or Manufacturing industry 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on laser drilling or laser-based processes. Strong understanding of laser-material interaction, optics, and precision machining. Experience with laser drilling equipment. Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing principles. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
