Act as perform duty as as a Duty Technical officer
Provide engineering and operational support for vessel operations, including maintenance, performance monitoring, and system troubleshooting.
Coordinate with ship crews, port engineers, and shore-based teams to ensure smooth execution of marine operations.
Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of dry-docking, refits, and maintenance programs.
Review and analyze vessel performance data, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Ensure compliance with relevant maritime regulations, classification society requirements, and company safety management systems.
Manage and update documentation related to vessel certifications, inspections, and operational readiness.
Liaise with vendors, contractors, and shipyards for repair and service coordination.
Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Support implementation of digital and technical solutions for marine operations optimization.
Contribute to risk assessments, audits, and safety reviews for marine operations.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marine operations, technical services, or vessel engineering support.
Strong knowledge of marine systems, propulsion, and auxiliary equipment.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong coordination and communication abilities, both onshore and shipboard.
