Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in marine mechanics or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in marine service and repair.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and marine service equipment.
Knowledge of marine engines, aux engines and cargo pumps.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with marine engines, auxiliary engine, steering systems, and other components etc.
Perform repairs on inboard and outboard engines, including fuel systems, cooling systems, and exhaust systems.
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure all shipboard system are working in satisfactory order.
Ensure the cleanliness of ship and engine room when onboard
Provide detailed reports on work performed and explain the nature of repairs and services to customers.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to marine service and repairs.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of services performed, including time, parts used, and labour.
Utilize service management software to log and track repairs and maintenance tasks.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other technicians and service team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
Any other duties as assigned.

Basic salary ranging from $3,500 - $5,000 with AWS and Variable Bonus for candidates with 2 years\' experience in marine service repair
